MS 902i 4 ohm connection

Hi, I am thinking of buying the avant 902i speakers as it says in the specs that their impedance can be 4-8 ohms. Does this mean they can be connected in either 4 or 8 ohm configuration, or just that their impedance will vary between 4 and 8 ohms? I ask beacuse I want to connect to my Onkyo 725dab system which puts out 2 x 50watts rms into a 4 ohm load. Any help appreciated.

It means the nominal impedance varies between 4 - 8 Ohms. They will work fine with your Onkyo.
