Mordaunt Short 5.1 Alumni Speaker Package

Has anybody seen or heard about these speakers, they look awesome.

I am aware they are due out september this year, but somebody must know something - please.

I am thinking about these for my set up at home and would like to know if they are any good, how do they sound. The Mordaunt range is normally pretty amazing - but would like some confirmation.

Can they be wall mounted??

Any help or advice would be welcomed.

Hi there

We saw them way, way back in January at the Consumer Electronics show - wrote about them in the March issue, if you've got that kicking around.

They sounded as good as things ever can in a vast Vegas hotel suite, and looked a decent budget package. I'm afraid I can't remember if they wall-mount or not, and don't have access to my notes from then, as i'm writing this from a hotel room in Montreux (the Jazz festival is awesome).

We should be testing the Alumni as soon as they become available.....
