marantz sr7002 compared to pioneer vslx72

Hey guys, I currently own a marantz sr 7002 and was wondering if there would be any benefits in buying a pioneer vs lx72.?I run focal 826 front, 800 centre and 806 rears plus focal sub.Thanks guys

i have never tried the marantz before but i can speak for the pioneer lx82 since it,s the one i own, and wow watta wonderfull partner when it,s put togather with the focal speakers!

i can imagin that the marantz sounds much like the denon and having tried the denon on my focal before i wasn,t so impressed , the sound was too smooth too relaxed , i use to have the Denon avr-4310 and as soon as i have changed to the pioneer lx82 from then it,s seems like if the focal speakers got back to live from the dead .
