mains cable

hi just wondering if anyone can give me some help regarding mains cables

i have just been given a black rhodium fusion super mains cable it has a 13amp fuse in it. would it be ok to use it on either my marantz 6002 amp or cd player (without blowing them up). would it be better put on my amp or cd player for best results

Given? You lucky dog! It should be safe on either (maybe check the fuse). I`d have a trial on the cdp first.

Yeah - usually I think it's best to add to the source first - so CD - but as you have it there already - you could simply plug it in each in turn to try - that will give you the only SURE answer!!
