Hi -
I'm tempted by an all-in-one system for the bedroom. Obviously the Solo and the Classik are contenders. I'll hook up my old Wharfedale 8.2's for now, and upgrade to some better speakers later on.
I've noticed a healthy second hand market for Linn Classiks. Obviously one has to consider a greater likelihood of faults when one buys
second hand - its hard to tell for sure how careful the previous
owner has been. Even higher grade hifi doesn't last forever, and rooting around the internet reveals tales of overheating, faulty PSUs and broken CD mechanisms for this product (and to be fair, its competitors).
But can anyone here indicate approximate repair costs associated with the Classik, should the worst happen?
Thanks folks, and happy listening!
Pete
