Hello experts:

A rather amateurish request for advice I'm afraid, but here goes:

I enjoy the internet play again Radio 2 music facility eg Bob Harris Country on my laptop. Is there a cable I can buy (which would enable me to enjoy a higher audio standard) to link the laptop to my Denon DM37? I use Roth Audio Oli speakers with it, as suggested by What Hi Fi, of course.

Em...what would be the name of such a cable?

Many thanks.

you need a mini-jack to rca cable, you plug the mini-jack into the headphone socket on your laptop and the rca plugs into one of the stereo inputs on the denon

And if you want it wireless, I may have a suggestion.....

Yes an RCA 2 phono ---> 3.5mm headphone mini-jack.

Rummage around in your old hifi boxes and you may even have one. They are a bit like wire coathangers, every house has one somewhere. They spontaneously appear sealed in plastic bags in a box in the garage the instant you go out and buy one and throw the receipt away. I found one in my laptop bag recently. Don't remember buying it.

(John finds old Airport Expresses lying around at the back of drawers in much the same way. He assumes we all do!)
