KEF KHT 2005.2 or KEF KHT 2005.3 (or either KEF KHT 3005 or KEF KHT 1005.2)

I have decided on the Onkyo 606, but am confused whether the KEF KHT 2005 would leave me a little dissatisfied. Is there a big difference between the 2005.2 and the others -- i.e. KEF KHT 2005.3 (or either KEF KHT 3005 or KEF KHT 1005.2)?

I've auditioned both the 2005.2's & 3005 on my quest and in a one-on-one comparison, the 3005's definitely sound a lot better. The difference between the 3005 and the 3005SE is a very small one in my humble opinion though...

Thanks WilcoL. I guess price/value is the next question. Here in the 'States, I can get the 2005.2 at around $700 while the 3005 is almost $1500. Any thoughts/guidance? cheers, kabir

Will you be using them mostly for movies? Go for the 2005.2 They're good and won't dissapoint you I guess...

Are you a music-addict and value SQ? Empty your pockets, dig deep & purchase the 3005's!!

Thanks. Great straight advice. Music lover -- so here goes to empty pockets. Am able to get the non-SE (straight 3005) at around $1100 and based on your advice will spring for those instead of the SE at 1500.

Well, what do you know? The retailer was able to sell me the 3005SE for the $1100 that I expected for the 3005. I am excited in anticipation! -- Kabir

! They we're only runners-up for me since my girlfriend keeps 2 cats which would just love to tear that beautifully crafted subwoofer or its passive radiator to bits I think, hahaha!!!

"Settled" for the Tannoy Arena system instead, but I haven't regretted it yet...
