Hi all,

I am old-timer on these forums but had to open a new account as couldn't access my old one for some reason...

I have a nagging issue. My Roksan Kandy K2 has developed a fault - where it randomly turns itself off. I used to think it was a heat thing, but its winter now and it's barely warm to touch and still does it even at relatively low volume (knob at 9-10 o'oclock).

It is fed via Rega DAC and pushes to Spendor A5 speakers. My mains doesn't seem to fluctuate (I have a tacima mains conditioner). I have had this setup for years.

Has anyone had this issue? Any ideas?

Hi CM. Have you checked your speaker cable connections on both ends?

The amp is entering in stand by or it loses power completely?

Thanks Vladimir.

I think I may have solved the issue - by removing a Sony BluRay player that I had put a bit above the amp (which was normally unplugged). Seems to have stopped shutting off... will give it a bit of time.
