Guys need your help!

One of the speaker outputs has gone bust on my Kandy K2 I think. At first I started noticing that right speaker is much louder but didn't think much of it as it sometimes depends on the music. But no, it's a fault - one of the speakers only plays higher frequencies (treble and high mid-range) and has zero bass and zero low-mids. The bass driver doesn't move at all and plays zero music.

I first thought my left speaker (Spendor A5) had given in but after switching posts tue issue switched to right speaker. I switched the interconnects and it was still the same speaker, which makes fairly confident its the amp. I am not the first owner but I have the proof of original purchase from Sevenoaks (nov 2008). First - has anyone had a problem like this before? Second, Rokasan is probably closed for the weekend so I can't check - is warrantly transferrable? Has anyone dealt with their customer service?

Just checked and the headphones thru the 3.5mm also have the same issue - left side has no bass/mids.

Yep, tried my ipod as a source and tried on different inputs. All the same.

I would suggest contacting Henley Designs who should be able to advise/help as they did for me when I had my Roksan amp in for a minor repair and they were excellent, one of their guys occasionally posts on here.

Roksan has confirmed warranty is transferable so in the process of shipping it to the factory. I am impressed they said they have 72 hour turnaround time. Moreover, they said I bring it in person they will fix it on the same day.

Good news: Received the K2 back from Roksan today! Roksan did keep to their 72 hour turnaround (well almost).

The problem is solved. There is no note as to what was replaced but the engineer told me the component name on the phone (and I forgot...).

Bad news: I feel like the sound is a bit different (overall light on bass), but then again i have been without music for the last 2 weeks so need to get readjusted to it... Need to play more tracks that I remember the sound of.

UPDATE : Found the note (a bit hidden!). It says: "replaced C129/130 caps and modified Relay RY109". The sound seems to be back to normal after warm-up and some listening to familiar tracks.
