iTunes/AAC file info on Panasonic TVs

Recent Panasonic Viera TVs (but not yet BD recorders/players) will playback DRM-free AAC files (but not yet Apple Lossless?) from SD card/USB sticks as well as the usual MP3. IMHO the sound quality is pretty good.

However, when I've converted iTunes files to MP3 in the past, I've also been able to use the "Convert ID3 tags" feature to include track data that shows up not just on the TV, but on most MP3-capable devices' displays. There is no equivalent menu for an AAC track, and the TV's info panel shows up empty ("----") in all categories.

Is there any form of file massaging, internal or external to iTunes, Mac or PC, that will put the AAC track data where the TV can see and display it? I'm using iTunes on a Mac, but can access Windows through emulation if needed.
