Hi. I used this combination for a number of years, the only difference being that the pre amp had microswitched controls and a powered volume control and was supplied with a remote. I enjoyed the amp and believe that Rotel offer generally excellent products. If you are using mainstream speakers (8 ohm) you should have a very enjoyable set up with a good bit of power in reserve. I sold mine on ?bay for £200 or so about 2 years ago. I used Kef Q35 mk2 speakers.

Can.t say as not had this brand, but the silver setup with the CD look good and reasonable price I would have thought for a job lot.
