Rotel RB-951 & RTC-850L any good?

Hi,

I looking for some pre-amp and stereo-receiver advice.

I currently have this setup:
- 2x Dali Zensor 3
- House of Marly Turntable (built in pre-amp)
- Denon Ceol Piccolo n4

I had some advice to replace the Denon with:

- Rotel RB-951 & RTC-850L

Any advice here?

Do you have a price for these amps?Your money would better spent replacing that turntable.

He mentioned that the receiver is not that good. The price for both these Rotel products is €310. But no idea if they are any better than the Denon.

Could you elaborate on this?

And any knowledge on the Rotel gear? Because I am planning to upgrade the turntable, but I'm also looking for a good pre-amp and receiver. So that's the reason for my question.

Sounds like a sweet setup you got there. Swapping the Denon for the Rotel RB-951 & RTC-850L could be a good move. It might give your sound a different vibe, maybe more punch or clarity. Just make sure it fits your preferences before diving in!

Swapping to the Rotel combo wil only be a good move if you are sure they are in good condition for their age and take into account at some point they may require expensive servicing.
