Interconnect Advice

I've just bought the following:

Roksan Kandy K2

Cyrus CD6SE

PMC DB1i

I've got Atlas Hyper 2.0 speaker cables and Chord Silver Chameleon Plus interconnects. I have a problem:

On some tracks (particularly jazz with a strong double bass) the system sounds a little "boomy" and it does not matter where I place the speakers. I am starting to suspect it may be the interconnects as everything alse is on the natural side or slightly forward in tone. Can anyone offer any advice or an alternative cable?

I'd suggest you give Amit a ring on 020 8942 9567 at Custom Cable Service, tell him the problem and your budget and he'll recommend an interconnect.

Thank you both. I now think it's the recordings rather than kit. Thay are both by the same artist and other music sounds OK. If this was the system I would expect the distortion to happen to all recordings.

That said I'll take you advice Pete and give the man a call.
