Im going to install wall speakers, so i need to sink the speaker cables into the walls, im gonna use an angle grinder to cut in and im using Qed anniversary XT cables, what i was going to do is cut a thin channel about 5-7mm push the cable in and use filler to fill it, but i was wondering will the moisture from the filler damage the speaker cable,

Anybody have any better ideas.

I would recommend that you route the speaker cable through some plastic conduit/trunking - some oval ones will do the job nicley. It protects the cable and allows it to move..
BTW, using an angle grinder will create a load of dust.. use a cold chisel and make the channell wider as its easier to work with the filler.
There is a new tool that creates a channell but not sure how much these are or how much dust they create

What you should be using is one of these.

Not cheap, but you could try hiring one perhaps.

A much cheaper option is one of these.

Not sure I'm convinced that this will be up to the job.

Grinder will be too fierce by far....lots of mess, high risk of serious damage to fabric of building or yourself. See this.
