i have taken the warranty bit off now as the amp works as it should do but still have to show the little marks on the top plate *smile*AntAxon said:Andrewjvt said:I just read your eBay and it's very honest of you to mention the warranty repair but I think that will put many off.
I thought the same thing when I read the listing.

Can I have an auralic mini, please?newlash09 said:But all the same, I've loved everything I've owned so far. And haven't parted with anything I've ever procured. I did gift my bluesound power node to my sister, but on the promise of returning it back if she ever upgrades.
I will have to part with some of my kit this summer. And when I get to have a room of my own, I'd like to have pics of all my beloved gear on it, to enjoy my audio journey visually as well as aurally. And yes I would also have some guitars up on the wall, along with my fav singers. But mostly it will be me with my kit. By the way...it's my man cave ain't it
I am not sure about warranty transfer to be honest but there is about 6 months left remaining and would be up to the buyer to find out if they are interested in the amplifier but Yamaha offers 3 years warranty .BigH said:I've had a look at the listing, high starting price and collection only may put some bidders off.
You don't mention how old the amp is, this may help.
Also is the warranty transferrable?
Good luck with the sale.

my little girls ballet tights ! Why ?Gaz37 said:What did you buy from "Dancing Daisy" on 6th April? Lol
Really well actually it does make a very good Center speaker better then I thought but they are expensive as they are £500 each but worth it as I never had the room for the full Center speaker Dali makes which is very big and to heavy to mount on the wall but yes it sounds great for films .JamesMellor said:At risk of pulling you way of topic, how are you getting one with the LCR as a center speaker. I have older Dali speakers and I'm thinking of a Rubicon or Opticon Vokal. I love the idea of the rubicon for twin 6.5s for huge scale.

I have lowered the price to £800 starting bid I can’t see it go for any less then that as I might as well keep it but in regards of posting it would have to be pickup only as I do not want any comeback on me if it gets damaged in the post or lost and the fact the buyer will see the amplifier working so can’t turn round and say it doesn’t work later on .
But if they wished to get there own courier to pick it up that would be there risk not mine but they would have to sort this out themselves if they wanted it that bad and I only sell in the uk anyway .
that’s why I do not want to post the amplifier because of the risk of damage it’s just not worth the risk so if someone really wants it they will come and hear the amplifier and then take it home with them .drummerman said:Blacksabbath25 said:I am not sure about warranty transfer to be honest but there is about 6 months left remaining and would be up to the buyer to find out if they are interested in the amplifier but Yamaha offers 3 years warranty .BigH said:I've had a look at the listing, high starting price and collection only may put some bidders off.

I recently sold my Cyrus system and the amplifier was reported damaged by the buyer. I am not saying it was Parcelforces fault but it probably did not help ... .
I had to say they would have to sort there own courier out and at there expensive and risk as well as pickup only cash on collection as others have said on here it narrows the buyers down .insider9 said:I've only skimmed the thread. So apologies if this was mentioned. Just a word of caution for home collection items from eBay. I'd warn you against accepting PayPal payments to protect yourself against buyer opening non receipt case after they collect an amp. You would struggle to prove they received it with couriers not being involved.
I only do cash on collection or bank transfer for that reason. Hope it all goes well. Also don't give up if it doesn't sell the first time. Your auction ends in the middle of the month so not ideal. It would be best if it ended around the beginning/end of the month as that's when people usually have most money to spare.
