HUMAX Foxsat HDR - auto switching

Hi all

I have a Humax HDR which is a brilliant device, probably its only shortcoming is when you turn it on from standby it does not automatically switch the television to the correct source and ditto when you turn it off again. My Sony BDP switches automatically in all circumstances.

Is there any way of turning this feature on?

What Tv do you have?

I ask because its the fact that it does Auto Switch sources that has many Panasonic owners annoyed as it switches off scart when it starts auto recording apparently:

I can't really see why you need autoswitching anyway. I have my Humax on Input 3 on my Pioneer Plasma and my Blu Ray on Input 1.

I leave my tv on input 3 all the time as I watch tv mostly so its always on the correct input when I start it and if I use Blu Ray I simply press the input button to change from 3 to 1. Hardly a hassle.
