I used to watch videos on youtube how home theatre dedicated room is but could not afford at that time in 2020. Now slowly i bought my very first 2.1 which has svs pb 2000 pro denon x4800h dali opticon 2 mk2 sony oled 65 inches. And its very addictive that bass. I watched all saw 8 film collection bluray. Even when gate is closed by amanda young it shakes my room which is only 11.7x10.7x10. Now my question is i want to run this business in my country and in my city there is no home theatre enthusiast. I want to become reseller for brands like svs ascendo dali etc and all other that customer demands. So can anyone help where do i learn 1. basics to advance for room acoustics?

2. If customer asks which size and type of subwoofer best for their room size how do answer this?

3. fully treating room for best sound if customer demands.

4. I also will be becoming dirac live reseller in my country . I am serious about this business.

5.what all else you suggest should i learn before opening business. I have my trademark registered already in INDIA

Also consider supply chains / import duties / etc as none of your products look to be local. Can you fulfil customer demands (is there demand) with suitable margins etc, etc. What are barriers to competition; will those brands appoint you as reseller; what are minimum quantities, etc, etc, etc.

i.e. in parallel with educating yourself on what you are going to supply, you need to do a profit and loss / balance sheet to make sure it makes sense. If you're not making money in three months, can you live? Six months? 12?

I'm not saying don't do it, but you need to put a lot of thought into it.

We all have to start somewhere but if your asking these very basic questions I think you need to do a lot more research. None of its hard but really only you can take the time to learn it, and its more than anybody here can give you help on with especially as most here are UK based.

at a very basic level you need a brand, a website and maybe brick and mortar shop all of which will take some money to set up and website will require a monthly payment as will a lease on store which may also need renovation to suit your purpose. Then you have marketing, social media full time jobs unto themselves. And then you'll need product training, Direc live will require training to become and installer. and then you have all the bits mentioned above.

If a loan is needed then a business plan will need to be drawn up for the bank/investors to look at

it gets alot very quickly.
