Hi All,

Have been on shopping spree

While setting up the bd it states to use a high speed hdmi for the deep colour signals.

I thought hdmi was standard, I have chord silver plus does this qualify if not what am i looking for

Thanks

It is. The use terminology to make you buy things. Until HDMI-Hawaii comes out, then we're in for a party.

I would not worry too much about deep colour support, so far no blu ray discs out there supporrt it, and I don't think there are any planned releases in the near future.

The only source of deep colour I know of currently are HD camcorders, like the Sony one I have.

Theres no such thing as a 'high speed' hdmi

Techically speaking you can get varying speeds but its not going to make any difference whasoever to the actual product

PS3s have 'deep colour' but as yet only one thing (Im aware of) even uses it
