Help with connecting speakers

Can anyone help ? Please advise how I best connect QED Silver Anniversary XT speaker cable to the back of my Onkyo CR 515 DAB micro system ? Terminals are the unscrew type. Do I cut back plasteic sleeve and braid inner, and pass the bare cables into the terminals ? Any help would be appreciated.

Chris,

you can connect the bare cable if you wish. However, the terminals will accept a good quality 4mm banana plug. Just get a small screw driver & remove the inserts that are in the centre of the binding posts to do this.
