help with amp cable setup

ive just got the jamos a10 and the sony STRDH 800.

the amp has dedicated sub output, do i use this alone or still put speaker cables to sub?

if i use output cable alone what is the correct name for this type of cable (ie coaxial) ?

at least then if i have to buy one i know wwhat to search for.

you need a properly shielded RCA cable. Just plug the Subwoofer cable into your receiver's Subwoofer Pre-Out and the other end into the left (white) Low Level In (or LFE in) on your sub.

i have an ixos cable that carries ny sound from my sony dvd recorder to my old amp, both ends have an rca connection would this suffice to start with?
