I've had a pair of Rogers Studio 2 's for almost 10 years and the base driver in one of them has just given up the ghost. I spoke to a v helpful chap at Sevenoaks and he informed me that it's likely that the driver has blown completely.

Does anyone have any advice on replacement or repair? Who should I speak to and how much is it likely to cost?

try googling...

or possible wimslow audio could point you in the right direction.

just googled and found wembley loudspeaker, they do complete drive unit rebuilds.

the only other option is to buy a second set of studio 2 and strip them down for units and cross overs.

my choice get the unit rebuilt...

ps....classic brit speakers, highly rated.....

Do you know much about them. I've had them for some time and hope to fix them. Tried Google but couldn't find much info on eitther their backgrounbd (other than they are big and I kinda knew that!) or their repair- hence post here. Thanks for the lead by the way - I've got Wembly and Wilmslow's phone numbers now. Progress at last

your right there is,nt a lot about them on the net, in production from 84 to 86.

I think there either a larger version of the studio 1, or a mk 2 version of the 1.with improved drivers. ?

bottom line, to replace at todays prices for the same quality well over a grand...
