Biscuits should be crunchy, not soggy, although I have to confess, because you reminded me of them, that when I was very young, I used to dunk rich tea biscuits in tea. Now I like crunchy, especially Italian biscotti.

Italian biscotti (as they are intended in the UK, like Cantucci - because in Italy biscotti simply means biscuits) are meant to be dunked! Just in wine, not in tea...

It actually says "ideal with cappuccino" on the box but, I like it dry and crunchy, and so does my wife. I buy a box from Amazon from time to time.
Haha I am sure it does and ofc they can be, but traditionally they go with wine, especially sweet type (like Vin Santo), at the end of a meal. I'd know, my dad is from the area where these type of biscuits come from, and I have watched him dunk them in his red wine since I was a toddler back when the world was young 🤣

But yeah they are pretty good dry as well, as that is how I used to eat them as a kid. Didn't like wine (didn't last 😂) and dunking them in water is gross... But there's also different types. The really hard ones just have to be dunked or you risk breaking a tooth or three.

I love Italian biscoti, love to dunk them 😎
Seems like the Biscuit Dunking party is surging to an early lead 😄

Right. Had a moment of madness and bought an ex-demo Focal Clear OG for £700 - about twice as much as my original budget.

Please someone take the internet off me 😂
For me it's the Fiio FT7. I'd like to try it out before spending that kind of cash, but we don't have that kind of local dealer network in Belgium. I've been thinking about ordering one, but it feels like a gamble compared to "certainties" like Sennheiser HD650 or planars in its price range.

Before i got my closed back HD620s i considered the much more expensive Focal Azurys. Now i'm glad i stuck with Sennheiser. But percentage-wise i use headphones so much more than my speakers, that a more expensive set of planars is justified, assuming they are worth the extra money over Sennheiser 6xx series.

Anyway... enjoy your new gear!

Yes same. I had actually been in touch with Richer Sounds - a chain of stores - to try a few this Saturday then saw this. I got in touch with the seller who advised me of a 14 days return, in case I didn't like them, which is pretty much what I did with the Sennheiser and Hifiman. I still would have preferred to try them first, also as returning is a bit of a pain, but didn't want to risk them selling - as it is after all a very good price for a very lightly used product with six months warranty. . We'll see.
