This is what Sony and other Japanese manufacturers did in broadly taking over electronics in the 20th century. Fiio and other Chinese manufacturers are doing it this century. Today it is surely bigger and broader, and will probably be even faster than Japan manufacturers were back then. There are probably data available suggesting at least that this is already the case.
We are in an advanced era far beyond simply/just "made in China".
