HD DVD Region Code

In the Jan issue (page 35) you have Blade Runner down as deal of the month from www.playusa.com

In the article you say that HD DVD discs don't have a region code. I've just bought the Toshiba EP-35 and it has Region 2 all over the box, and on the playusa website it says that the discs will only play on region 1 machines.

To clarify, it's the players that don't (presently) have a code - so they'll play HD DVD discs from any region - though not DVDs, which are still region-coded.
