HD-DVD PLAYER&U.S DISCS

Hi folks,think this subject has already been covered here,but I need to be sure before making purchases.I have a Toshiba HD EP30 HD-DVD player which I`m very happy with.It states on the box it`s region 2 but I need to know if I can play U.S discs such as those on Play usa.com as there seems to be loads more titles available over there.Thanks folks,appreciate the help.

There really needs to be a HD-DVD FAQ sticky on this.

HD-DVD is region free at present so you can buy from the US without problems. Most of mine are from there. Standard DVD's are region encoded and won't work.
