HD DVD RECORDER MULTI REGION

Hi just bought the panasonic LCD TX32LXD 700 ,Great tv but realised that with each great thing you buy you need to accessorise it .... I have a old sony dvd recorder with freeview which is multi region , I need to replace it with a panasonic hd dvd recorder but has to be multi region as i have over 250 region 1 films , Can someone please help ?

I think there is a hack available for the toshiba hd xe1 and e1 at the moment but will invalidate your warranty I would imagine and it comes in the form of a firmware update.
