Can someone please tell me if the PIONEER BDP-LX52 blue-ray player has a digital co-axial connection or not. I am aware that it has a digital optical connection but i am not sure if it has the other digital co-axial type. The reason why i am asking this question is that someone told me that i should look for a blue-ray player with preferably a digital co-axial rather than a digital optical output because a digital co-axial cable carries the signal better than a digital optical cable would so therefore it should give me a far superior and on the whole much better quality output to my PIONEER SC-LX82 a/v amp is this true or not. Is a digital co-axial connection better than a digital optical connection. Thank's.

Don't know if it has co-ax, but the best signal will be through your HDMI cable, so it's really not an issue for you.

the_lhc:You'll be connecting it to your amp using hdmi so it doesn't matter about the other digital connections as you won't be using it.
