Hay Mac..I honestly had a tear come to my eye on reaching the end.....I don't think another album has reduced or lifted me to such a extent....in recent years...but I have to say it won't be for everyone.

I can understand that, it's the fact that it's based on real people makes it so moving

I must see Karine live... if you haven't already, take a listen to her album Traces, another brilliant album, particularly the last track, "Half a mile", again based on true life

The Transports album was enjoyable, thanks. I loved the spoken word intro.

Some meaningful and contemporary grass roots folk.... Phat Bollard, Brew for the Barrowman.

First Aid Kit's new album Ruins doesn't do it for me... a few good tracks, but won't be buying.

Some of you might like an artist called Puzzle Muteson, reminds me a bit of Sufjan Stevens

Listened to an interview and live session on 6 Music's Tom Robinson show with a young artist called Lisbee Stainton, well worth a listen and her forthcoming album Lisbee Live is available on Spotify.

I still think her early album Girl on an Unmade Bed is her best.
