If you are partial to a bit of Oysterband then maybe you might like Rev Hammer, in particular the album Industrial Sounds & Magic.

Here's 3 folk/acoustic albums I would strongly recommend:
Richard Thompson - Acoustic Classics
Cara Dillon - A Thousand Hearts
Sam Kelly & The Lost Boys - Pretty Peggy

Lindsay Lou & Flatbellys album Ionia has just given way to Electro’s tip of Eivor’s Natureboy live.
To be followed by the album Unsongs by Moddi, not quite folk...not quite acoustic....but quality
McRibbons said:The first three tracks had me, loved the smooth feel to the music. The rest of the album didn’t quite do it for me in the same way, although still enjoyable enough....but the first three tracks ;-)
McRibbons said:Borderland isn’t on Tidal either, but there are 3 tracks from Mark Radcliffe’s Folk Sessions and they are decent too. Joseph Baker, Dream of England, When the Morning’s Here...
Just put this album on = Some Strange Country by Crooked Still
McRibbons said:I like that Sarah Jarosz too, thanks.
Just found Sarabeth Tucek, album of the same name. Love it
maybe I’m just in the mood for some soothing/chilled music

Many years ago I went to see Richard Thompson with Danny Thompson at Manchester's Royal Exchange Theatre. It was a magical evening, and the undoubted highlight was when both Helen Watson and Christine Collister came on stage and sang a handful of songs with RT and DT. It's one of my musical highlights and it really doesn't get any better for me.
ps: as I type 1952 Vincent Black Lightning has just come on Radio Paradise

Loving Kirsty Merryn, especially Bring up the Bodies, lovely track
