You may be an undigested bit of beef, a blot of mustard, a crumb of cheese, a fragment of an underdone potato. There's more of gravy than of grave about you, whatever you are!

the_lhc:Not quite the same though is it, eh Max? It was just the radio after all...

Not to mention the fact she was in London and the Yorkshire Ripper wasn't. She might have got a clue from the name...

He might have been on his holidays?

No - assuming it runs in the family I'd have expected her to have jumped out of bed and said 'What's the strangest place you've ever been drunk...?'

Not at all - no reflection whatsoever on your mother, more on endless bizarre threads.

A possible explanation of the 'supernatural'.

What is that from? I know I've heard it.

A Christmas Carol - Scrooge trying to rationalise the appearance of Marley's Ghost.

"You don't believe in me," observed the Ghost.

"I don't," said Scrooge.

"What evidence would you have of my reality beyond that of your senses?"

"I don't know," said Scrooge.

"Why do you doubt your senses?"

"Because," said Scrooge, "a little thing affects them. A slight disorder of the stomach makes them cheats. You may be an undigested bit of beef, a blot of mustard, a crumb of cheese, a fragment of an underdone potato. There's more of gravy than of grave about you, whatever you are!"

SURVIVE STYLE 5+ - Japanese film, has Vinnie Jones in it unforunately, but is high on action and high on dark humour

GOZU - Another Japanese film. Weird and wonderful

13 (TZAMETI) - Low budget French film. Simple story and high on tension

VISITOR Q - Another Japanese film. Twisted and very dark humour

PSYCHOMANIA - Old British horror. Unintentionally funny, and brilliant in every way. Cult classic

Krull?
Personally I love it. Kevin Sorbo hams it up marvellously, and I think it's probably even better than it would have been had it been the third Conan film with Arnie that it was originally planned to be.

Well yes I enjoy it as well but really I was just making a weak Bernard Bresslaw joke.

I get to watch quite a lot of films. Every so often ill see one that impresses me that I've never even heard of before. Latest was called '11:14' (released 2003). Completely random film consisting of 5 intertwining stories. Any films anyone cares to share that have equallly impressed them we may not have even heard of?

Allright, maybe you already heard about it before, I didn't. Just choose it together with some other random movies.

I watched Kick-*** at the weekend. what a mad film that is. I think I'm going to have to watch it again to make a proper opinion. I didn't know whether to laugh or be shocked. You'll know if you want to watch all the film after the first 30 seconds or so. Great picture quality and the surround sound is fab.

Machette is a classic too (I was one of those that always wanted it making after seeing the fake trailer)

Just watch Red. I thought it was great. Helen Mirren with a BFG, what else is there to say.

Oh! Great in your face surround sound as well.

I found 'Red' very entertaining :)

One of the most 'out there' films ive seen recently was Scott Pilgrim V The World which I thought was awesome. I'd imagine many here would absolutely hate it - haha
