Hi, Had Arcam AVR750, few weeks ago developed crackling noise like old radio noise, from all speakers. It is present is all speakers in all modes except 7 channel stereo. I have reset it. Software, when I try to update, cannot do it online. Through USB, cannot find update, although it can find other files put on USB.
I opened it. 4 large capacitors seems to be bit loose and swollen. I am not sure, it is best to swap them and see.
I am using HDMI input. Checked all HDMI inputs and it is present in all.
Had anyone else had any issue like this before?
I am based in Saudi, Eastern region, nearest general amp repair service is about 150KM away, no Arcam dealer in country.
Any advice would be great. I am OK to do soldering, but donot know how to go through diagnostics.
