Yep, there are some going for £289 asking price but these are the non SE modelling and some on preloved website for £300.

Cheap I feel as these were originally around £990.

This probably isn't helpful..but, there's a pair of AE1 mk3's on internet for £460! You'll need a powerful amp...if it were me? I would save up the extra money..

Based on what certain dealers offer for trade-in you are better off on eBay anyway. ;-)

Why not? It's where most of the old stuff ends up.

FWIW I also check sites like preloved and hififorsale but they are not necessarily better yardsticks.
