Do upgraded mains cables help even if you have a Conditioner?

Hi AV nuts,

I am currently using a Tacima Mains Conditioner with which i can say i have seen and heard some great improvements upon connecting to my AV kit.Question is:

Will i see or hear a greater reduction in noise with upgraded mains cables?

Especially Sky and 42" TV.

Each case is different due to RFI in the house mains etc

But fitting a 16 core braided cable to my tv made a difference even though I use a SIGMAS mains conditioner

In my experience, yes it can. I use Van Den Hul Mainserver cables with Isotek mains conditioners on my Cyrus system and they do have a positive impact. Is the difference worth the money? Well, it has been cheaper than upgrading the system, and I have been able to do it incrementally, but its best looked at as fine tuning. Good speaker stands, a good hifi rack, a comfy chair to listen in etc etc. The difference on my homecinema was much less noticeable.
