After being given an Isotek Neoplug and being marginally impressed I'm somewhat intrigued by this subject, so can anyone enlighten me as to the difference between the Russ Andrews Balanced Mains Unit at £2.5K than an off the shelf product for about £200? Say as per the links below:

http://www.russandrews.com/lookup/1/region/UK/currency/GBP/customer_id/PAA2513098708013IRHQQGJNYNJJBNMU/product-Balanced-Mains-Unit-3000-1190.htm

Also, the RA animal looks as if it's a 3kVA transformer in a Sarrel box with a switch and an MK socket. A 3kVA transformer can't cost much more than £100 and the rest of the parts less than £50, anyone tried making one up?

Dont see any difference between the Airlink Units and the Andrews except for cosmetics and a whole heap of ££££££££.

tried to blow up the andrews pic to see if there was amything else like suppression units installed but the pic wont enlarge too well. Have to say though that there doesnt seem to be anything else in there.

Go for the Airlink one for the reasons above.
