Can anyone shed any light on the diamond wiring method? I read about it in a post about EB Acoustics speakers. I gather it involves switching one of speaker cable's plugs to the terminal you would normally only use in a bi-wire set up.

A friend of mine experimented with switching cables this way, and damage the crossover.

I've searched the net, but I just get links to Wharfedale speakers!

It's simply connecting the negative speaker cable to the LF connector & the positive to the HF (or vice-versa as takes your fancy) while keeping the bridges/jumpers in place.

Yep, this is how my BX2's are wired up, in all honesty it doesn't make much of a difference to just wiring up to the LFs IMHO -- But should be more balanced this way.

Cheers,

What Crocodile said. And it will not damage the crossovers. I've tried it in the past and it didn't make any difference to me.
