Desperately seeking cables!!!! HELP!!!!

I have a Copland 288 cd , Graaf GM50 amp and Magneplanar 1.2 speakers , currently connected with some VDH borrowed cables , I must say that I do believe in the deference the cables can make but cannot make myself give bags of money (which I do not have) for them. I would really appreciate help, advice, experience….. And be most grateful!

Do you like the VDHs or do you think there are areas in the sound which can be improved?

Also, how much are you looking to spend?
