DENON DVD-2500BT PICTURE FREEZE

A friend of mine has the Denon DVD-2500BT running through the Denon AVR-2310.

Recently, when he has been watching a movie, about an hour in, the player just freezes! He said the only way he has found around this is to turn it off at the mains then start the film again from where it froze.

Has anyone (including the WHF team) heard of or experienced this?

I have personally never experienced this. Does the player have the latest firmware update?

Would agree here, check for the latest firmware which is 1.122 and found here if you have registered your product.

Any news on the freezing.

I would dare hazard a guess he hasn't got the latest firmware with which Michael has pointed out, since i added this firmware back in December 2009 i've had no issues at all and i've watched loads of blurays in that time as you can imagine.

The latest firmware has obviously been successful as there hasn't been anymore firmware in nearly 14 mths.
