What Hi-Fi awarding this system a winner is justified, having acquired one a few years back. However, I very much disagree with their faith in Denon's own SC-M41 speakers. After being just mildly satisfied with the sound, I ditched the bundled speakers for Dali Spektor 2. What a difference! It's no wonder that Richer Sounds don't even list the system with Denon's own dedicated speaker.

Further to comments made by @Ludovic and @Gray about Dali's compatibility with the system's 30W rating... Mine sound great in my medium sized room, though I wouldn't disagree that that speakers with better sensitivity (like Q Acoustics 3020i or Elac Debut B5.2) would yield louder output. I am in no way, dissatisfied with my volume!

Hi all, thinking of getting this for someone, but can I plug a turntable into the aux and be good to go?
I can find out the make if necessary, it was a 5 star budget one I found on here ages ago
Cheers

Make and model of the turntable would be good as I think you'll need a phono stage of some kind to use it with the Denon.

Hi, I am thinking of buying the Denon D-M41DAB with the Denon speakers for my bedroom. Or should as suggested spend the extra £150 for the Q Acoustics 3010i? I was also wondering if anyone could advise what speaker stands would be the best to match with these speakers?
