Universal remote

Hi everyone,

I own the hifi system consisting of the Densen B310 and B200. Unfortunately, it didn’t come with a remote control when I bought it. The "Gizmo" remote, which is the original one, is impossible to find and is no longer available for purchase.

Does anyone have suggestions for a universal remote control for my system?

Alas Densen isn't listed but as a small manufacturer, I very much doubt they make their own transports (including the IR circuitry). Densen ought to be able to tell you which manufacturer, and if they can give you a compatible model number from their range, that should work.

Sorry, not as straightforward as you might hope.

Imho most 'universal' RC's, at least the cheap ones, suck. They cover some functions, not others.

I would just try and be patient, a used Gizmo may become available.

They're also not desperately pretty - I used mine to teach my learning remote the correct codes and it's lived in a drawer ever since. But it might be a case of needs must - that Densen one isn't cheap.
