Question I bought the Triangle AIO Twin speakers

I've installed the app but I can't see anyway to stream BBC Sounds unless I use bluetooth from my phone.

That is correct unfortunately, it's not the fault of the Triangle, but rather BBC and now Classic FM not choosing to go onboard TuneIn, which is a shame.

I understand why BBC won't do it, that's because they want you to subscribe, so it's BLuetooth only. Classic FM (UK) was once available on TuneIn, but inexplicably pulled out.

Many systems with built in internet radio stopped getting BBC stations and some others due to the change in law (2023) blocking TuneIn from linking them in the UK and the way BBC changed the way it steamed so they can bean count users and for how long and what they listen to.

Few, like B&O with their Mozart platform updated their sofware. Others, like Devialet only take steaming via an iphone or iPad as they could not keep up with the software changes but it does not have to be Bluetooth. Systems with uPnP, DLNA and Google Chromecast can use Bubble uPnP (android) and Stream What You Hear (on PC) to cast wireless over wi-fi for un compressed audio. Apple users have Airplay 2 that is compressed but lossless. Whether you notice the improved quality of wi-fi over that of Bluetooth is down to what you are playing.

Complain to the manufacturer and ask about updates to the software so you can listen with the features you paid for and expected. It is down to software, not hardware changes.

☹️
You've discovered - and those above have pointed out - the worst aspect of radio on streamers.
The 'here today, you're lucky if it's here tomorrow' nature of it all.

True, nothing in life is guaranteed except death and taxes but......

You often see, right at the bottom of all the listed positives with streamers (and apps on smart TVs etc) words to the effect of:
if what you've got goes......nothing to do with us gov, sorry, but thanks for your money all the same 👍

At least you never had it to lose on the Triangle (not much consolation I know).

It's a shame the radio waves have become politicised, absolutely no consideration for the consumers who had paid for these features only for it to disappear tomorrow.
It doesn't instil confidence.
