Jasonsony735,
Judging by your equipment list, and the fact that you can't get Denon via mail order, I'd contact a shop and have fun deciding for yourself if it's worth the extra money....
We both(wife and I) agreed the 2310 was definitely a big step up from the 1910, so felt it was worth it, rather than craving another upgrade 6 months later.......
I have to admit that both our faces 'lit up' within seconds of hearing the 2310, which we auditioned after listening to the 1910 for about 20 mins (to give our ears a chance to get used it the sound the 1910 produced.)
As you have arguably better speakers than I do, the improvement might be better, but then again the sound of the 2310 may 'clash' with B&W speakers (but doubt it)........
The difference between the way they sound can be described by this:
The 2310 had far more upper frequency detail on show, so therefore had better clarity and definition. The bass was definitely more refined, with plenty of drive and more punch, but again the clarity had improved over the 1910, and the midrange was right in the middle of it all........the 2310 was a far more mature sound, in my opinion, with bags of detail and omph behind it.
This added up to be a more realistic reproduction of the sound and movie effects, in my view....
Hope that helps...and enjoy auditioning them.....
