Hi.

Can anyone tell me if they have an answer to this and / or have you seen this happen as well.

I have checked the connection with a meter and Red is to Red with Black to Black, I marked the cables up prior to running them under the floor.

re-run the test - mine did this, and said it was wrong twice, and okay the third time. Play some vocals that you're familiar with and see if it sounds rubbish.

Hi,

My Yamaha told me that one time I ran the check - I knew for sure the cables were connected properly. I left it a day then tried it again - no errors second time.

If you're sure the cables are correctly wired then leave it.

Cheers,

Cofnchtr.

Thanks guys.

I am 100% sure that the cables are correct, so have left them as they are. Having the carpets cleaned soon so I will have to re run the setup again anyway.

my denon 2809 did the same thing twice, dont worry about it if your sure its all correct.

hi mate,i used to have a denon 1909 (very nice it was too)

im sure it said somewhere in the manual that the scenario your describing can and will happen during setup but to ignore the error msg if your speakers are wired up correctly.

hope this helps
