Cyrus 6VS2 integrated amp with Morduant short Mezzo 2 speakers

Hi

I can pick up the Cyrus 6VS2 at a very good price. Does anybody know whether they would be a good match for the Mordaunt Short Mezzo 2's?

I think you would end up with a very clinical sounding combination. The Mezzo 2s are superb speakers but IMO they need a little warmth from the amplifier to avoid a certain whiteness of tonality.

Thanks Matthew, I was worried about that as well.

Think I might look at the Roksan Kandy MKII or a Naim.
