Hmm. I get it, but I've never considered hi-fi mags to be the 'gamekeepers'. They're just part of the product sales and promotion chain. More interesting to read than a brochure certainly.

Yeah do you remember the days when various WHF staff regularly contributed to threads and questions because someone above them recognized it was a useful way of interacting with enthusiasts and presumably provided the resource/time for them to do so? Anyone but me get the feeling that if this place didn't already exist, no one would bother setting it up now, and really it's just a matter of time before someone has the balls to shut it down?
