Plenty of debates to come I reckon (such as how Crank 2 managed to get in the Action Top 10...

Still, Gran Torino made the drama list on Blu-ray (justice!!!!) - after the hotly disputed three-stars for the DVD release

Andy Grange:Yeah, isn't the plane scene in Knowing meant to be one of the best scenes on any blu-ray? Surprised that's been left off the list.one of the best scenes ive seen in any movie , apart from all the little campfires dotted around everywhere when the dust had settled , very amateur ....

Andy Clough:Have to say I didn't get on with Knowing at all. Nicolas Cage just can't act. But yes, technically it's a good disc.

hmm though I agree with ya Andy about Nic Cages acting ability, Wickerman remake is so funny its a comedy classic in my eyes

Raising Arizona, and Leaving Las Vegas, Nic Cage was superb in!!!!! He was even good in Moonstruck.......

SPOILER!! (I can't see any spoiler tags I can add to hide text)

Clare Newsome: Personally I enjoyed Knowing apart from the last @30 minutes, which were daft. Awesome Blu-ray in terms of quality, too. Why? Because it involved aliens? Or the numerical theory? As we don't know whether they exist or not, this shouldn't be a far fetched possibility. And as forhe numbers debate, there are many films that address this possibility. I'm not sure why loads of people slag films off because it turns out it was aliens all along. In this case it wasn't exactly a surprise, so this aspect would've affected the enjoyment of the film from an early point.

Despite this, I still enjoyed them film (and it would still have been a good film without the alien aspect). It's still a far better film than the Day The Earth Stood Still remake, and I'm sure it's going to be much better than 2012, which from the bit I've seen is just comical. I can't believe I'm sticking up for a Nicholas Cage film........
