changing sky+ box settings to upscale to 1080i

hi

ive posted a post on the TV forum as im thinking of getting a panny TXp42g10, got a sky + box so i will; be viewing SD only, someone mentioned that i could possible set my sky+ box output to 1080i ??

Can this be done?

No not if it's a Sky+ SD box, it will output 576i and has no upscaling capability,and of course your tv will upscale the signal anyway.

No, you can only set a SkyHD box to output at 1080i, although arguably you don't want to, the Sky box isn't a particularly good upscaler, many people find their TV does a better job, so they leave the box output on the Auto setting and let the TV upscale.
