centre speaker placement

sorry - another newbie question....i need to put my centre speaker underneath the tv (whichever one i end up choosing??!!see earlier thread!!??) is this going to be a major problem? - I beleive the ideal location is above the TV- but i just dont have any roon there....

advice gratefully received once again!

The ideal location is with it's tweeter at the same height as your face, the same with the rest of your speakers. The centre speaker is not too important because it doesn't have to meet any stereo needs. You will hear no difference above or below as long as it isn't angled away from your listening position.ÿ

Hi Alex,

I have mine below the tv too......but I have angled it up slightly (using shelf) so it directly faces where I would sit.

This works fine, as far as I'm concerned.

Ditto, got my centre below tv and angled up.
