Can your existing hifi be upgraded to the next version.

Hello hifi fanatics
Ive got the cambridge audio 640a 640c 640t all version 2s and there all under a year old.
When cambride audio bring out the version 3s im going to be a bit gutted, so i was wondering if your
existing models can be sent back to the manufacturer and be upgraded to the next version in the same
series. Does anyone know if this can be done, thanks dougie.

Usually not, due to the complexity of the changes made and the costs of rebuilding the products. But it's always worth asking the manufacturer...

I use Cyrus kit which you can upgrade to the latest version or even up-to the next model in some cases.
