Can I buid my own Pioneer TV?

With Pioneer stopping their 42" plasma, I have read on here about the idea of buying a Pioneer plasma Panel that is used for tech work. Apparently, they have no tuner or digibox because they were never intended to work as a TV. However, as I understand it you can set it up with a Sky box, and some external speakers and you have a TV.

I wonder if anyone can point me in the direction of where I might be able to buy one of these panels, how much it will cost, and if there are any problems that are not obvious to me?

I think you might find the panel costs well in excess of an equivalent size of TV sadly.
