Hi, I have one of these phono stages but some how lost the manual when tidying up. Can some one explain the switch on the back for subsonic interference? when I installed it was set to 'off' so I've just left it as that. My turntable is pro-ject genie and the amp is CA340a if that makes a difference cheers

Designed primarily to reduce the "whump whump whump" you can get with warped records. Doesn't appear to make any difference to me (Project RPM5/Arcam/Wharfedale) either.

Remove the speaker covers. if you notice the cones on your speakers flapping excessively between tracks turning it on will eliminate it.

Thanks for the quick reply's guy's (what did we do before forums?)

I have the speaker cover's removed and can't say I've noticed them 'flapping' (Im sure I would have posted a question on that if I had!). guess I leave it switched to off - I tried it switched on last night for a album then listened again with it off and cant say I noticed any difference

thanks again
